THE GRIEVANCE AND REDRESSAL CELL

The Grievance cell has been instituted and is functioning in our college in full swing. The Grievance and Redressal cell was constituted to probe into the students grievances. The Grievance Redressal cell attempts to address genuine problems and complaints of students whatever be the nature of the problem.

OBJECTIVE

• To creative a platform where students can point out their problems regarding academic and non - academic matters.
• Get suggestions from the students for improvement.
• Take necessary steps for improvement in the light of grievances.

Citizen Consumer Club

Citizen Consumer Club of SeethalakshmiAchi College for Women, Pallathur Celebrated World Consumer Day Every year.Consumer Club conducted various competitions. Students from Various Colleges in Sivagangai District Participated in the Programme many competitions were conducted related with consumer awareness. Exhibition also organized by consumer club.

INAUGURAL FUNCTION

The Inaugural function of consumer club was held on 16.03.2019 at 10.15 a.m. in our college Auditorium. The function started with prayer. Selvi. B. Aathirai of III B. Sc. Mathematics welcomed the gathering.

Our Principal Dr. K. Thirumamagal presided over the function. In her presidential address she insisted the students to be aware of the consumer rights. Mrs. V. Kasthuri, Associate Professor of Commerce and Convener of Consumer Club of our college addressed the gathering.

She insisted the need of the service of the students to make the society with consumer awareness by insisting their neighbors about the consumer rights and motivated them to do service. She evidently explained some latest consumer right rules.

Selvi. K. Epzhiba of III B. Sc. Mathematics proposed the vote of thanks. The function ended with national anthem.

CONSUMER DAY CELEBRATIONS

Consumer Day was celebrated on 16th March 2019 at 2.00 p.m. in the college auditorium. The function started with prayer. Selvi. K. Ponnalagu of III B. Sc. Mathematics welcomed the gathering. The chief guest, Dr. R. Nageshwari, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, addressed the students in the topic “Consumer Rights For Women”. She explained about some of the consumer right case studies of Sivaganga district especially for women consumer cases.

Our volunteer interacted with her. Our audiences were very much benefitted through that program.
